Licensing Process
- Candidate meets with pastor
- Pastor contact Administrative Bishop or District Overseer
- Meeting with Administrative Bishop or District Overseer and Pastor
- Local Church Endorsement
- Two Letters of Reference
- Application for *CAMS/Licensed Minister, Minister of Music or Christian Education
- Complete required Courses – CAMS (Approximately 6 months)
- Order Study Guide for Exhorter Minister (Minister of Music or Minister of Christian Education)
- Exhorter Minister Testing
- Submit Ordained Minister and *MIP Application to State Office (by July 1)
- Complete MIP (8 month program – September through May)
- Order Study Guide for Ordained Minister
- Ordained Minister Exam
- Submit Ordained Bishop application to the Regional Office (Age/Ministry Experience Requirements: Age 25 with 8 years active ministry experience. Age 30 and over with 5 years active ministry experience. COG minutes 2014 page 100)
- Order Study Guide for Ordained Bishop
- Complete Ordained Bishop testing
