Administrative Bishop | Blaine Faircloth

Bishop Blaine Faircloth serves as the Administrative Bishop of the Midlands Region (Iowa and Nebraska).  Bishop Faircloth comes to the Midlands Region, having served the Dexter Lake Church of God for the previous 11 years as Lead Pastor.  With a combined 35 years of pastoring, Bishop Faircloth previously served the Riverview Church of God (Michigan), Thonotosassa Church of God (Florida), and South Dade Church of God (Florida).  

Bishop Faircloth has served on numerous elected boards, including as Chairman and as a member of the State Council (Michigan), member of the State Evangelism Board (Michigan), and a member of the State Youth & Discipleship Board (Florida).  He has also served as a District Overseer and church planter (South Dade.)  With a pastor’s heart, Bishop Faircloth strives to develop emotionally healthy leaders and churches.

Bishop Faircloth is an alumnus of Lee University, and has been married to his wife, Julie, for 42 years.   They enjoy traveling and being adventurous with activities including horse back riding, zip lining, cave tubing, and snorkeling in the Caribbean waters.

Women’s Discipleship Director | Julie Faircloth

Julie Faircloth serves as the Women’s Discipleship Director of the Midlands Region (Iowa and Nebraska).  Julie has served alongside her husband, serving in ministry for over 40 years.  She has lead and organized successful women’s conferences, events, and ministries on the state, district, and local level.  Julie holds ministerial credentials with the Church of God and is an alumnus of Lee University (Cleveland, TN).

Bishop Faircloth and Julie have two children, of which they are very proud, Candace and BJ, and their spouses John and Jaime.  The Faircloth’s are proud grandparents to twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Youth & Discipleship Director | Ruben Ferrell

Ruben Ferrell is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. Ruben and his wife, Trisha, have been married since 2000 and have built their family and ministry together while raising their three children, Ben, Alexis, and Paityn. For more than two decades, their lives have been marked by a shared commitment to serving God and investing in others.

Ruben has served as a Missionary, Ambassador, and Emerging Leaders representative through Church of God World Missions, carrying a heart for missions and a passion for developing the next generation of leaders. His ministry extends beyond the walls of the local church, with a vision to see lives transformed, churches strengthened, and communities impacted by the power of the Gospel.

For the past 10 years, Ruben has faithfully served the Midlands Region in various leadership capacities, as Camp Coordinator, Camp Nurse, or Camp Counselor. He has also served on the State Youth Board and Regional Council. His commitment has remained consistent: to serve, to lead, to build, and to see the Midlands Region grow stronger in Christ.

His passion is simple: to reach people, raise leaders, strengthen the Church, and leave a lasting Kingdom impact for generations to come.

Girls Ministries Coordinator | Trisha Ferrell

Trisha Ferrell serves as the Girls Ministry Coordinator for the Midlands Region where she is passionate about helping young ladies discover their identity and purpose in Christ.

She strives to guide the next generation in prayer, scripture reading, and everyday Christian living.

Trisha holds ministerial credentials with the Church of God. She has always served in her local church in a variety of roles. Currently she serves on the Worship Team, in Children’s Church, as a Young Adult leader and the Church Clerk.

Outside of her ministry role, Trisha enjoys traveling (especially to the beach) and spending time with her family. She works as a Staff Accountant where she does Bookkeeping, Payroll and Individual and Business Tax Returns.
