Administrative Bishop | Blaine Faircloth

Bishop Blaine Faircloth serves as the Administrative Bishop of the Midlands Region (Iowa and Nebraska).  Bishop Faircloth comes to the Midlands Region, having served the Dexter Lake Church of God for the previous 11 years as Lead Pastor.  With a combined 35 years of pastoring, Bishop Faircloth previously served the Riverview Church of God (Michigan), Thonotosassa Church of God (Florida), and South Dade Church of God (Florida).  

Bishop Faircloth has served on numerous elected boards, including as Chairman and as a member of the State Council (Michigan), member of the State Evangelism Board (Michigan), and a member of the State Youth & Discipleship Board (Florida).  He has also served as a District Overseer and church planter (South Dade.)  With a pastor’s heart, Bishop Faircloth strives to develop emotionally healthy leaders and churches.

Bishop Faircloth is an alumnus of Lee University, and has been married to his wife, Julie, for 42 years.   They enjoy traveling and being adventurous with activities including horse back riding, zip lining, cave tubing, and snorkeling in the Caribbean waters.

Women’s Discipleship Director | Julie Faircloth

Julie Faircloth serves as the Women’s Discipleship Director of the Midlands Region (Iowa and Nebraska).  Julie has served alongside her husband, serving in ministry for over 40 years.  She has lead and organized successful women’s conferences, events, and ministries on the state, district, and local level.  Julie holds ministerial credentials with the Church of God and is an alumnus of Lee University (Cleveland, TN).

Bishop Faircloth and Julie have two children, of which they are very proud, Candace and BJ, and their spouses John and Jaime.  The Faircloth’s are proud grandparents to twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Youth & Discipleship Director | Lloyd Smith

Lloyd Smith is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He, and his wife, Katie, have been married since 2007 and have three kids: Trevin, Ariana, and Luke.

Lloyd has served the local church for twenty years as a Kids Pastor, Youth Pastor, Music Minister, and is now as Lead Pastor of Forward Community Church of God in Palmetto, Florida. Forward has grown exponentially in recent years under his leadership. He continues to serve as Lead Pastor at Forward while also serving the Midlands Region as Youth Director.

Lloyd has been elected twice to the Florida Church of God Youth and Discipleship Board and has served a total of six years. While serving on this prestigous board, he served as camp planner, creative consultant, and the lead promoter for all youth camps.

Girls Ministries Coordinator | Katie Smith

Katie Smith is a devoted wife, mother, and follower of Jesus, known for her love of photography and baking. She is married to Lloyd Smith, and together they have three children: Trevin, Ariana, and Luke. Professionally, Katie works at Raymond James Financial Services and Vitality Investments, where she is committed to helping clients reach their financial goals.

In her ministry, Katie serves as the Girls Ministries Coordinator, where she passionately mentors young girls in their spiritual growth. Alongside her husband, Bishop Lloyd Smith, Katie co-pastors Forward Community Church of God, where they work together to foster a welcoming and faith-filled community. Katie’s life is rooted in faith, family, and service, and she finds joy in the everyday moments that make life special.
